Antiques valuations return to Henley on a weekly basis at recently launched Cafe Jessecco, Toad Hall Garden Centre on Marlow Road. Pascal McNamara from Wokingham Auctions was a regular feature at the Vintage Look Antiques Centre on Hart Street in Henley before the pandemic each Tuesday offering advise on jewellery, silver, watches, art and all things antique and vintage.

Many people have antique/vintage items at home, often inherited or sometimes from a deceased estate and have no idea on values, so cannot confidently decide on a strategy for disposal.

So, you are invited to bring smaller items along for appraisal (without charge or obligation) any Tuesday afternoon from 1.30-3.30pm to Toad Hall and Pascal will be happy to recommend next steps, whether selling at one of their regular auctions, Facebook Marketplace or just donate to a charity shop. For larger items like furniture or pictures send photos to by email to: [email protected]

Well-known local entrepreneur Jessica Hayes launched Cafe Jessecco at Toad Hall Garden Centre in February 2023 building on a reputation over the past few years at top social and charity events across the Oxfordshire hinterland offering pancakes, pizza, cakes and Prosecco aboard converted horse boxes. So drop along to Toad Hall any Tuesday afternoon between browsing around the garden centre where you’re sure to receive a warm welcome.
