A single-owner collection of mostly gold sovereign coins made almost £30,000 at Wokingham Auctions' July 20th sale. The near-100 coin cache from a deceased estate ranged from Victorian full sovereigns to a Royal Mint 2017 Five-Sovereign piece, £1,400; 1oz Krugerrand, £920; three-coin proof sets; a Britannia 2016 four-coin gold proof set, £1,600; Royal Family commemorative sets to a silver 1628 coin from the Lucayan Beach Pirate Treasure with certificate!

Most coins were beautifully presented in their original boxes and packaging, adding to their value and as the catalogue had been published two week prior to the auction on the-saleroom.com and Invaluable.com interest was brisk with many lots selling to overseas buyers.
