An 18ct gold open-faced stem wind pocket watch, by Pearce & Sons of Leeds, hallmarked Chester 1912 with maker's mark Richard George Merrick stamped to outer and inner lids. The white enamel dial with Roman chapters, outer minute track, gold hour and minute hands, blued steel second hand, the case plain, diameter 49mm, the dial and movement signed 'Pearce & Sons, Leeds', and numbered '2213', as is the case. Gross weight 137g. In working order and in very good overall condition.
